Settings and integrations
General
Settings > General manages company name, address, contacts, sector, data-protection details, logo, brand colour, sender address and default framework. These values are used in exports and documents. Logos must be PNG or JPEG.
Roles and permissions
The Roles and Permissions tabs define the access matrix. A role can only be deleted after no account uses it. Module permissions are applied to navigation and linked-data loading.
Authentication
The Authentication tab supports local accounts, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Google. Keep tenant, client and secret values only in the instance. Test the connection before enabling it. External authentication requires consistent user and authentication-method assignment.
AI
The AI tab configures provider, base URL, API key, model, timeout and optional thinking. Supported providers are OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenAI-compatible endpoints and configured z.ai endpoints. Keys are encrypted. Changing provider without a new key removes the previous key. AI functions remain disabled until provider, key and model have been tested successfully.
System
The System tab shows licence status and technical functions. Emergency mode pauses the mail queue. Enable debug functions only for focused troubleshooting and disable them afterwards.

Frameworks, backup and API
- Framework management activates supplied or custom frameworks, replacements and mapping-conflict handling.
- System backup creates and restores encrypted full backups.
- API access manages keys with expiry dates and scopes, plus MCP and API documentation downloads. The extension after v1.25.0 adds the complete domain API and adapter package.

The Inventory Collector reads the individual Windows computer and writes a local JSON file. The MCP server runs on the user's computer with an instance API key. See REST API and MCP for setup, permissions and limits. Recurring source reconciliation is covered in Push data sources and the adapter guide.
